Getting to Aspen is a whole lot easier than the locals want you to believe. They like the mountains to themselves!!!!

There are several airlines that fly into Aspen (some flights only in the winter months and schedules are subject to change without notice):

or try the insider's trick. Fly to the Eagle airport, rent a car and drive, or hire a taxi to Aspen. Eagle is only an hour and thiry minute drive with no mountain passes and a 4-lane from the airport to the entrance to Aspen.  They have more regular flights and seem to be open in worse weather; however, some airlines and flights do not operate in the summer (and schedules are subject to change without notice). If you fly into Denver, you can travel the 200 miles to Aspen by car, limousine, bus or train:
Aspen Limousine Service provides service to Aspen from downtown Denver and the Denver airport, and can be reached by calling 800-222-2112 or 970-925-1234--call for rates.
Greyhound Lines/Trailways provides bus service from Denver to Glenwood Springs, where you'll find limo services to take you the remaining 40 miles to Aspen--call 800-525-6363.
Amtrak's California Zephyr train also travels from Denver to Glenwood Springs--for information and reservations, call 970-945-9563 or 800-872-7245.
